COVID-19 Community Resources

As we deal with this unprecedented crisis in our country it is important to the Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce to continue our mission of helping the community. Below we have compiled a list of ways our business members are addressing COVID-19 in an effort to continue services at this time.

     Jim Beam – Visitor center and tours temporarily closed. http://www.jimbeam.com

     Bullitt County Clerk – Open to the public by appointment for transactions such as vehicle transfers and out-of-state transactions. For renewals, continue to renew by the internet www.drive.ky.gov, by mail to P O Box 6, 40165, or in the dropbox on the courthouse annex. All other questions, go to the website for additional information. There is no date for when the office will be open to the public. http://www.bullittcountyclerk.com

     Shepherdsville First Baptist Church – 254 S. Buckman St., 543-7721 or 955-7372. Food Pantry – Tuesday from 1-2 pm.

     Shepherdsville First Church of Nazarene – 224 N. Maple St., 994-6247. Food Pantry – Tuesday from 5-6 pm.

     Journey Church – 461 S. Buckman St., 531-9602. Call between 10 am – 2 pm to schedule a time to pick up.

     Bullitt County Public Library – We have opened our book drops for returns! We have curbside pickup, material requests through the library catalog and BCPL app are reenabled. As of June 16th, holds are limited to 25 items per account. Friday, June 19th with the restoration of computer access at our Mt. Washington and Nichols branches. Public computer access is now available in the meeting room of each BCPL location.      Bullitt Central High School – 869-6013 or 869-6012. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am – 2 pm. Must call to set up a time to pick up.

     Metro United Way – Call 2-1-1 to be connected to people to resources in the community to meet specific needs that they may need.      The Turnaround Center – Open for appointments for services on Tuesdays, Serving meals on Mondays & Fridays at noon, Serving dinner on Thursdays at 5 pm.      Seven Counties Services – We are Open and Here for you when you need us. We are utilizing tele-health therapy for outpatient appointments and support meetings. We can help with anxiety, depression, poor sleep, mood swings, grief, overwhelming thoughts, and more.
