COVID-19 Community Resources

As we deal with this unprecedented crisis in our country it is important to the Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce to continue our mission of helping the community. Below we have compiled a list of ways our business members are addressing COVID-19 in an effort to continue services at this time.

     Jim Beam – Visitor center and tours temporarily closed. http://www.jimbeam.com

     Bullitt County Clerk – Closed to the public beginning Tuesday, March 17th. Core staff will continue to support mail and online transactions. Vehicle registration renewals can be done at www.drive.ky.gov or mailed to P O Box 6, 40165. Marriage license applications are by appointment only. Passports are suspended until further notice.      Shepherdsville First Baptist Church – 254 S. Buckman St., 543-7721 or 955-7372. Food Pantry – Tuesday from 1-2 pm.

     Shepherdsville First Church of Nazarene – 224 N. Maple St., 994-6247. Food Pantry – Tuesday from 5-6 pm.

     Journey Church – 461 S. Buckman St., 531-9602. Call between 10 am – 2 pm to schedule a time to pick up.

     Bullitt County Public Library – All Bullitt County Public Library facilities are CLOSED to the public.  BUT, we still are here for you, we are now doing phone orders for pickup; curbside pickup. Library materials are available to you online and in our 24 Hour Library machines located at the Shepherdsville and Nichols branches.  We’re also available for online reference help and are planning virtual programs for you to enjoy from the comfort of home. http://bcplib.org/coronavirus-covid-19-and-bcpl

     Ray of Hope Christian – 384 Raymond Rd., Shepherdsville, 921-2518. Food Pantry – Saturday from 9-11 am.

     Bullitt Central High School – 869-6013 or 869-6012. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am – 2 pm. Must call to set up a time to pick up.

     Bernheim Arboretum & Research Forest – Bernheim will be closed to the public beginning on March 26 until further notice. All programs through May 3 are canceled and will be rescheduled when possible. Please visit https://bernheim.org/covid-19-update/ for the latest information.

     Metro United Way – Call 2-1-1 to be connected to people to resources in the community to meet specific needs that they may need.      City of Lebanon Junction – Closed to in person traffic, water bills can be dropped off in box. All parks are closed. Call for questions or services at 502-833-4311.

     The Turnaround Center – Open for appointments for services on Tuesdays, Serving meals on Mondays & Fridays at noon, Serving dinner on Thursdays at 5pm. Food Baskets available on Wednesday pickup between 1-3pm. Accepting donations of food and/or monetary for purchase of food. http://www.uturnrc.com

     City of Hillview – Closed to in person traffic, call for questions about services at 502-957-5280. All city parks are closed.

     Seven Counties Services – We are Open and Here for you when you need us. We are offering telehealth services for our current clients and new individuals and families looking for behavioral health counseling for a child or adult, addiction recovery, and developmental disabilities. We can help with anxiety, depression, poor sleep, mood swings, grief, overwhelming thoughts, and more.
